Preparation of Car 9.B.V.
for 15,000 miles trial.

In preparing the above car for the next 15,000 miles test, it is necessary for the following work to be carried out.

1. The dynamo to be cleaned and the commutator to be skimmed if necessary. The machine then to be handed over to the Laboratory, who will fit and bed-in special experimental brushes.

2. The Lucas regulator at present fitted, to be removed and one of the latest type fitted. This will be supplied by the Lab.

3. The lamp footswitch to be replaced by one of the latest type. This will be supplied by the Lab.

4. The headlamp wiring to be made suitable for continental use.

5. The Lucas ammeter to be replaced by a standard Weston instrument.
