X5003 To BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} c.c. Mr. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Hdy.{William Hardy} WHC. Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}1/HP.28.7.34. 20/25 HP. Flexible Engine Mounting. Herewith is N. Sch.4151, which shows a protecting cover for the lower rubber on the rear engine mounting. The upper one seems already well protected, if oil can be prevented from leaking from the gearbox. We do not think a cover could be conveniently arranged which would protect the rubbers from this oil. Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
