EXPERIMENTAL DEPARTMENT MACHINE SECTION. We are very anxious now to take over the remainder of the proposed extension of this Department into No.3 Shop, as a further consignment of new machines is due for delivery. There are twelve more machines to come in and the whole of the space previously allocated is now fully occupied. We shall, therefore, appreciate anything which can be done towards providing alternative accommodation for the Experimental Chassis Electrical Division. We have been pressing the manufacturers for these machines and do not therefore wish to hold up delivery at this stage; furthermore, we are hopeful that with the additional assistance of the new equipment it will be possible to make a very vigorous effort on Chassis work in the future.
