Further to my memo Mx{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer}9/T30.5.30, we have run three Phantom Gear Boxes with 50% of Whitmores Compound. These boxes were run on this mixture through Unit and Dynamometer test - in every case the condition of the gears surface was excellent. In accordance with arrangements made with Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} we shall now run three more boxes with a similar percentage of Prices Compound, and incidentally we are arranging to revert to Prices Compound for axle testing.
