Dear Sir: Attention - Mr. Hives.

At the time Mr. Hives left Springfield he took with him a DUZ/6 Magneto and an Automatic Advance Battery System T6 which we understood were being furnished by the American Bosch Magneto Corporation free of charge in order that Mr. Hives might try out the same at Derby. It has since developed that the American Bosch have insisted that we pay for the above or return the same to them for credit. The amount of their charge is $14.00 for the Battery Ignition item and $64.00 for the Magneto.

Would Mr. Hives kindly advise whether it will be in order for us to pay for the above items and charge them to Derby or would he prefer to return the same to us for credit?

Very truly yours,

ROLLS-ROYCE OF AMERICA, INC.
