G.R.Y. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} RHO 81559. BY/EM/J.16.12.32. Brake Cover Plates G.78276/7. The Order Office have drawn our attention to the fact that if it is possible to use hard rolled aluminium sheet in place of Duralumin which is at present standard, it would result in a saving of over one pound (£.1) per chassis. We have therefore requested them to obtain six circles in hard rolled aluminium sheet of a size suitable for making the above and we shall be glad if you will have same fitted to an experimental chassis and let us know whether you consider the aluminium sheet a suitable substitute for duralumin for this purpose.
