6116 To HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from ROY.{Sir Henry Royce} c. HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst. ROY{Sir Henry Royce}1/MG22.12.36 You will recollect when Mr. Oliver Lucas was here on Friday (18th) I mentioned a complaint we had received from a certain owner regarding Lamps fitted to his Bentley car. The owner stated "the back of the lamps was all rusted up due to condensation," and asked that the lamps should be painted for a P.III Chassis he has on order. Personally I cannot understand the complaint. Mr. Lucas is arranging for their Irish Representative to visit the owner in question, i.e. Mr. Wm. Gallaher, Malone Park, Belfast, who is a member of the big Tobacco company, and evidently a client who can influence business. ROY.{Sir Henry Royce} | ||
