560. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} from Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}6/R.8.1.37. YOUR 25/30 H.P. Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}39/E.29.12.36. Confirming our telephone conversation, we find that the running after switching off on your car is a very persistent complaint, so far it has resisted all our efforts to eliminate it. We think it may be due to the special camshaft which we fitted to improve the slow running. Though this gave excellent results on the test bed, this is the first time we have had road experience with it. The results are certainly surprising, as we have no precedent for them. If GAE.20. is any good to you until we let you have your own car back, we shall be glad if you will keep it. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
