Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} from Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 560 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}11/R.6.1.37. YOUR 25/30 H.P. Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}39/E29.12.36. The features which I objected to on your car were the timing gears and tappets. The spitting back in the carburetter did not occur when I tried the car before despatching it, nor did the experimental tester who delivered it notice any signs of this defect. It had disappeared when we received the car this week, and we understand that Cricklewood rectified the trouble. We are returning the car to you to-morrow, Thursday, January 7th.
