PHANTOM. X.7530
INSTRUMENT BOARDS. X.8530

We have seem a print of F.77834 shewing an arrangement of the instrument board for chassis following those with F.H. numbers, which has the new controls.
We understood that Sales wanted a grouped scheme of instruments such as that copied by Barker's from Park Ward, and drew out such a scheme and fitted it to 16-EX.
Would Sales say whether they would like this standardised, and we will ask Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} to circularise a sheet.
With the controls placed relative to the centre-line of the board as on F.77834 a grouped scheme is not easily arranged. When moved out as on our N.sch. 2543 a very good balanced arrangement is possible.
