STANDARDISATION OF CHASSIS PARTS.

NATURE OF VARIATION FROM "STANDARD" AND REASON FOR SAME.

Object. To provide for adjusting brake shoes automatically to allow for lining wear.

Report on Examination. Read from blueprint.

This is a scheme of which we have not yet had practical experience, but we have arranged for a set to be fitted to one of our experimental chassis for test.
We anticipate considerable improvement.

The number of the first chassis on which the new part will be fitted. N.2. series.

Date when chassis will be handed to test.

Cost of scrapped material, if any. Nil.

Cost of jigs and tools. Approx. £45.
