Ignition Distributor.

With reference to your suggestion that insulating washers should be placed beneath the insulation bushes of the contact lever ; it is intended that the bush should be a very tight fit in the lever and thereby firmly secure.

We suggest the failure you have had is because the bushes were not pressed in tightly enough and although we may fit a washer,in the event of anybody using the Delco-Remy lever as a spare,this will not have a washer,and we suggest that a further attempt be made to suitably secure the bush before we commit ourselves to any alteration.
