X6143 WST To E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} from ROY.{Sir Henry Royce} c. to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst. ROYL0/MG18.5.32 Further to ROYL/MG13.5.32, and our recent conversation re Distributors and Coils (with automatic advance) the Watford Company now advise that they are supplying such details to: Leyland Motors, Dennis Bros.Ltd, Henry Meadows, &c. but so far they have not found it any advantage to fit a double lever and three lobed cam for the contact breaker - even for high speed engines. Then the double lever will of course increase our tool charge considerably. Meantime I have asked them to let us know what the actual figures are. ROY.{Sir Henry Royce} RECEIVED 1932 MAY 19 | ||
