To____________________ 19__ Order No.____________ Customer's No._____________ a low resistance path to earth for the H.T. supply. This is the only one of the three cases reported, where the insulation has actually broken down on the surface. In the other two cases the carbon-oil paste had stuck the collector brush up in its holder, and in consequence burning of the slip ring had occurred due to subsequent sparks jumping from the slip ring to the brush.
