X985 E F C JAN 4 1921 To.HCH. Laboratory. From Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/TMW. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/TMW3/LG4.1.21. RECEIVED RE. PETROL. We attach herewith a Gasoline Distillation Curve forwarded to us by Mr. Hives from the U.S.A. He writes referring to this as follows:- "One of the chief troubles I find they have here with the Car is due to the difference in the quality of petrol. I attach herewith a curve which shows the distillation test taken on average American Petrol. Would you get Mr. Hall to plot on this curve a similar test taken on our average petrol used at Derby". We are arranging to send you a tin of Shell Motor Spirit and should be glad if you will kindly do as Mr. Hives requests. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/TMW. | ||
