We very much regret that through an unfortunate misunderstanding in our Works here, the small Rotary Displacement pump model which we were to send you under arrangement with Mr. A.{Mr Adams} E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} Elliott of "ElmsteadHenry Royce's home in West Wittering", West WitteringHenry Royce's home town, Chichester, has not gone forward.

We hope that you are still able to carry out the proposed trials, and we are taking steps to immediately despatch the pump in accordance with the instructions already given us.
