| contd. -2- mentioned that Barwick will have more to do than he can well manage when the number of rear springs which are now being changed over get into his hands in addition to the springs for production and repair springs. He suggested that some of the testing might be undertaken by his (Woodhead's) own men until the rush was over, but if this suggestion is adopted he would wish to have our assurance that we would accept his certificate in all such cases. I think we might consider the advisability of allowing Woodheads to test repaired and re-built springs, leaving Barwick to deal with springs for production and the rear springs which are changed over.
