Sheffield.

Dear Sirs,

Further to our conversation on the 23rd inst. the total deflection of the Bentley rear road spring, from the unloaded to the maximum bump position is 7.125". The poundage of the spring required at 4" deflection is 750 lbs. The piece number of the spring is FB.22.

These details are to enable you to produce a spring having fewer and thicker leaves, in order to reduce the dead weight.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS ROYCE LIMITED.
