X8800 To EFC. BY/HEB{H. Biraben}2/M.7.12.25. 20-HP. AND 40/50 HP.CHASSIS. HEADLAMPS. J.W. We have received a request from Coachbuilders' enquiring whether 24 Watt or 36 Watt Bulbs in the Headlamps are Standard equipment. We find that the Head Lamps in the Stores are fitted with 36 Watt Bulbs which is apparently the Lucas Standard, but a short time ago we were informed by the Test Dept. that they used 24 Watt Bulbs for all Head-Lamps. We should be glad of your remarks as to which Bulbs we should use as Standard, so that we can notify Coachbuilders'. Also kindly state the size of Bulbs which we should fit for Side and Tail Lamps.
