X.4342B X.4359B Dear Sirs, Further to your letters of the 9th & 20th ult., we have carefully considered the Specifications of the Electrical Apparatus you give, and now have much pleasure in enclosing particulars and data of some of our products. Blue print No.1399/7 shows the outline dimensions of our Dynamo type E.11, while the corresponding output curves, hot and cold, are attached. This machine as you will observe is 5 5/8" diameter, while the weight complete with pulley is 28 1/2 lbs. The temperature rise after 2 hours on the peak load is 88° Fah. on the outside of the yoke. This machine agrees very closely with your requirements for the R.R 40/50 H.P.Car. Blue print No.1331/7 shows the outline dimensions of our E8. Dynamo, the rated output of this being 8 amperes, while the attached curves show the output hot and cold. This also agrees fairly well with your requirements for the "Goshawk". This machine is 5 5/8" diameter, and the weight complete with pulley is 20 1/2 lbs. A further blue print No.1191/7 shows the outline of our F.E.4 Dynamo, this being a machine of 4 3/4" diameter having the same rated output as the E8, viz., 8 amperes hot. The weight of this is practically the same, as the Armature is increased in length to compensate for the reduction in diameter. contd..... | ||
