Phantom III. Unit No.8.

Tests have been carried out to determine the wear of the bottom tappets on the above unit.

This unit has a special camshaft LeC.5320, having a small base circle, and an angle between the cams of 140°.

Nos. 1,2 & 3 tappet blocks cloudburst hardened.
Nos. 4,5 & 6 " " fescolised

Condition of tappets after 1 hour endurance:-
