(c) "Could any reductions be achieved by ignoring the limitations with regard to layout of the present factory?"

(d) "Having obtained the above information, we want to know what further reduction could be achieved in material, due to buying in quantities, and in labour due to the reduction in man-hours if the Park Ward Construction were adhered to and tools could be put in hand the cost of which could be spread over 6,000 bodies to flow from the shops on conveyors at the rate of say, 60 per week".

(e) "What advantages from the improved plant and larger quantities would accrue to Coupe bodies at the rate of say 5 per week and the other custom built bodies in pre-war quantities produced by the Company.

Mr.Green said that he was informed that the Pressed Steel Company of Cowley will have their first information concerning our enquiries about B.V. Saloon bodies for his consideration by the end of April 1940.

Lighter B.V. Bodies.

In view of the fact that the B.V. Saloon may have to be used on a chassis of about 2 litres engine capacity there is real interest in reducing its weight. Mr. Ward was asked to make two of the remaining B.V. bodies in the light construction such as was used on 12.B.V.

Coupe Body B.V..

Mr. Ward said that the coupe scuttle for B.V. is approaching completion and he was lent a "clock" in order to measure the deflections according to our original instructions.

Silver Ripplet 2.R.2.

The finishing instructions for the above car are as follows :-

Pale grey body, bonnet and wings like 1.R.1.
