To Donald Sessions & Co. Ltd.

The jacks generally are very much below the standard of the sample set which we have, and below the standard of the 40/50 HP. car jack.

This chassis is due for delivery to the coachbuilders tomorrow. We are removing the jacks and sending the chassis away without them. We feel sure that if we let them get into customers hands complaints will arrive.

We were given to understand that the type of jack you are fitting to 20/25 HP. cars was the same as the sample submitted to us. We hope that this cheapened jack has not got on to many of our customers cars.

We should never consider standardising it and could not recommend our customers to have them fitted.

We shall be glad to have your remarks in due course.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
