To E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} c. to By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} Phantom II. In conjunction with the large semi-expanding carburetter (LOP.E.84480) trouble has been experienced in that oil is drawn from the rocker cover (E.84131) into the air intake, by the breather pipe. This trouble was overcome by G.W.H. during the last 10,000 miles test of 28-EX, and we have shown his arrangement on Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1632. Will you therefore detail this to replace the existing cover (E.84131). Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/L.H. Swindall. | ||
