A.{Mr Adams} Robotham, Esq., Messrs.Rolls-Royce, Ltd., Expl. Dept. Derby. Dear Sirs, We beg to thank you for your letter of the 18th inst., and note from the attached tracing that the lettering will fit in the available space. We have to-day received an order from your Supply Department for three gauges of this type, and we are querying whether they are not really requiring the three masks mentioned in script at the foot of your letter of the 18th, and have ordered three complete gauges by mistake. In any case, for the purpose of future MAJOR SEGRAVE'S "GOLDEN ARROW" was fitted with a NAPIER-LION ENGINE and CLAUDEL-HOBSON CARBURETTERS. | ||
