We thank you for your letter of the 27th September addressed to our Albemarle Street, which has been passed to us for attention. Might we suggest that in future all correspondence in connection with service, spare parts, technical queries, be addressed to us direct here at Willesden, to eliminate delay in replying. The approximate cost of relining the brakes on your 16 cylinder Cadillac would be £8.10.0 labour and material, plus £1. for skimming the drums if this should be found necessary. In connection with the gear lever constantly coming out of top gear, we regret from the limited information in your letter we are unable to give any reason for this. We would, therefore, suggest that if possible you let us have the car here at Willesden when we would be pleased to inspect it for the cause of this difficulty, and let you have an estimate for the approximate cost of the work necessary. Assuring you of our sincerest co-operation at all times, we beg to remain, Yours faithfully, FOR LENDRUM & HARTMAN LIMITED, M.G.ARMSTRONG, Manager FIRE:- LENDRUM & HARTMAN, LTD. accept no responsibility for any injury which may be caused by Fire to any property entrusted to them for any purpose.
