For the attention of Mr. Ward.
Dear Sirs,
Re: Chassis 3.B.50.
We wish to confirm that during our visit on Tuesday, 23rd February, we found that the drilling of the spare wheel carrier tube brackets would require modifying in order that the spare wheel could be mounted vertically.
We would also like you to fit the bonnet for this car in order to ensure it lining up with the scuttle slope.
Could you please let us know the earliest date you expect this car to be ready for us to take delivery.
Yours faithfully,
FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
CHIEF ENGINEER - CHASSIS.
