"We have given a trial run today to Mr. Noel Stewart. He is the son of P.N. Stewart who, I understand, has ordered three Bentley cars. The son is a knowledgeable motorist who has raced on Brooklands with Alfa Romeos.

I believe their first chassis is due for delivery the second week in January. It is to be fitted with the open Van den Plas body. We recommend that for this open car we fit the higher axle ratio 11/43 instead of 10/41. We also think we should keep the body weight down as much as possible and from what we understand from Mr. Stewart he does not require the extra luggage carrier which adds additional weight to the Van den Plas body.
