CHILDS

WRAITH III and BENTLEY III. DYNAMO ARMATURE.

In view of the increased output now required from the dynamo, it is desired to try a scheme with a 36 slot armature fitted to the standard dynamo.

This is an interim measure by which we shall find what increase in output is available with the new armature alone. A further increase in output can be expected by fitting the bronze brush gear now being tried out on P.III dynamo.

The adaptation of this will be shown on a later scheme :-

The projects then will be :-

(1). 36 slot armature in standard dynamo.
(2). 36 slot armature, bronze brush from cradle mounting.
(3). As (2) but with long magnet case and sling mounting.
