Dear Sirs,

With reference to your letter of the 20th instant, HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.10/MA, with regard to the R.R. dynamo which you kindly loaned to us, we regret we have had a little difficulty in fitting the modified brush gear but this has to-day been completed. We shall be making running tests immediately. If we despatched the machine on the 26th instant, will this meet with your approval?

Trusting it will be convenient for you to grant us a few extra days in connection with the loan of this machine, we are,

Yours faithfully,
