Re GRF-35....Major Monro.

Major Monro telephoned this morning to say that he had had further trouble with flooding on this car on two occasions, one of which was at a time when he was at the head of a line of traffic, and a Policeman had to help to push him out of the way.

He now says that although he is very pleased with the car in every other respect, except engine vibration, he has lost all confidence in it and wants to know what we are going to do.

I have told him that the matter is receiving very serious attention by our Technical Officials and I will let him know between now and the end of the week what we propose.

C.
