Leyland,
LANCS.

12th. November 1937.

For the attention of Mr.H.Spurrier. Jnr.{Charles L. Jenner}

Dear Sirs,

We despatched, marked for your attention, yesterday the remaining six connecting rods to which we have fitted Aluminium Tin bearings. We are sorry for the delay but our machines have been overworked recently and we have had difficulty in getting things moving.

Could you let the writer know the approximate date on which you expect the rods already supplied to you will be ready for tests, as Mr. Herrington of High Duty Alloys would like to visit you on the same day.

Yours faithfully,

for ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
