6001b.WST. This is interesting. Should like to see plugs stripped. Are trials cars now running on Bosch plugs? Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Lillie Hall to W. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/WST. Re: Chassis No. B 3 GA. Trials Bentley. Enclosed please find 6 AC sparking plugs, type X399, which were fitted in the above trials car on the 5th October, 1936. The mileage run on these is 3775. The driver, whilst away on a provincial tour had to change them for K.L.G's owing to bad misfiring at low speeds and had great difficulty in getting the speedometer to register 90 m.p.h. He put in the K.L.G's again and things are O.K. now. Ethyl petrol was used the whole of the tour. RC.{R. Childs} | ||
