GOSHAWK CLUTCH I am sending you herewith copy of R8/M19722, shewing modifications to the Clutch Mechanism, also blueprint from LeC.1607 which we received with the memo in question. It should be clearly understood that the above proposals do not modify the instructions which we have already issued to the Works, as if we commenced to make modifications at this stage the Works attempt to produce chassis will be absolutely futile. Please note that this should be merely issued to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}, in the first place experimentally, for his comments, and then when he reports on same we will arrange to bring it in at the earliest possible moment.
