X5410. X7410 To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} re Low Rating Springs. Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}21/E25.11.31 I have received standardisation sheets for these in connection with both the Phantom and the 20/25. On the back it says: The number of the first chassis on which the new part will be fitted....................When available. I am not quite clear what this really means. The position so far as I know it is that on the Phantom we do not want low rating springs adopted as standard for reasons already discussed. In connection with 20/25, I believe that the last decision was that about 24 sets should be brought through and put on production with a view to letting them go out to see what results they produced. You might let me have your views. I am completing the Sheets and sending them through but I want it to be clear that at this juncture we have not agreed to their general adoption. Sg.{Arthur F.
