X8783 H.R. C.S.H. G.W. C.RM.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} EJB1/EG.2.9.31. Re Chassis 123. GY. Rippon Bros.Ltd. We do not agree that the fault of not charging is with the dynamo. We have not interfered with it in any way and it has been running on our test bed for four hours without failure and is giving its output. The commutator certainly does show some signs of sparking but nothing out of the ordinary. As modifications have been made since this machine was despatched we propose adding these seeing that it has to go into stock. I propose keeping the machine here without alteration until you or your representatives have seen it before proceeding with any repairs. E.J.Brock. | ||
