-> S/W....Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} e.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} to Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} F ----- C15/C26.11.34 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}16/KW22.11.34 I note you are preparing the necessary parts for the new type clutch which is to be fitted to my car (GZU-24). Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} agrees to your trying the slightly lower steering ration on Wor{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}'s car, Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}'s new car and on my car. I am taking over GZU-24, as it has many experimental bits on it in the way of coachwork, so that the Smith's hydraulic jacks can be left on and they will be under our observation; if there are any points you want specially watched, perhaps you will let me know. Bumper bars have been fitted to this car also. The front one I understand is extremely heavy, but for the time being we will leave these on and will then try the car with the front bumper off, and let you know what we think. When you have the necessary parts ready for GZU-24 perhaps you will send them to Cricklewood and ask them to advise me. C. | ||
