Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} H2/H3.10.30. 183-XJ. - A. {Mr Adams} MUHLENKAMP. ESQ. In connection with PN {Mr Northey} 4/CP19.9.30. - copies of which were sent to Wor. {Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} and EP {G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} , please note we have been able to arrange with Mr. Muhlenkamp to send his car to W. to-day instead of Monday next, the 6th inst. previously mentioned. His driver, in fact, is the bearer of this memo. Mr. Muhlenkamp is anxious that the springing and other certain matters should be dealt with as quickly as possible, and is sending his car up early so that you may start your work earlier than would have been possible had the car been driven to Derby next Monday. We have a clear week on the car, but it has to go during that time to Messrs. Park Ward as stated in PN {Mr Northey} 's memo, and we hope you will be able therefore to finish the springing matter in time to drive the car to Messrs. Park Ward's Willesden on Thursday morning at the latest. Please note that besides the springing, Mr. Muhlenkamp particularly wishes attention to be given to the clutch, which is unsatisfactory, and to a knock which he thinks proceeds either from the transmission or possibly from the shock absorbers, and which is noticeable when running slowly. Please do not fail to let us know when the car will reach Park Ward's as we have to instruct them. H. {Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} | ||
