X4491. To BY. {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from ROY. {Sir Henry Royce} c. to HY {Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer} [struck through] c. to Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Tangye Jacks We received on Saturday a second Tangye Jack, which they state has a cadmium plated tube. I am not quite sure why they have sent this second Jack, as we understood the first sample Jack submitted (Vide ROY {Sir Henry Royce} 4/MG30.10.29) also had a cadmium plated sliding Tube. However, to avoid any possibility of misunderstanding, I am asking Tangyes why they have sent this through. ROY. {Sir Henry Royce} [Handwritten note:] X. handed <- By. {R.W.
