This should be done carefully and at several points around cover to prevent distortion, see Fig. 29. After cover has been removed, the nuts and washers used to hold the core in the body can be removed and the core taken from the regulator body, see Fig. 30. Fig. 27. Removing Screws Fig. 28. Removing Screws When reassembling the core in the regulator body, care must be taken to clean all gasket surfaces. New gaskets should be used in all cases.
