With regard to your memo Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Smth16/KW. 17.6.36, we have investigated this matter, and append hereunder the result of our examination of 16 clutch plates.

It will be seen that only two are within the category advised for use by Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Smth.

It should be noted also, those that are thickest are the ones most recently delivered.

We recommend, in order to keep production going, that this suggested limit be reduced, and in the meantime that this matter should be taken up again with the suppliers.
