Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}6/LG21.12.25 EXPERIMENTAL CARS. We have just taken stock delivery of 9-PK car fitted with a double-enclosed limousine Hooper body mounted on a subframe, finished with cellulose paint-work. This is a Silver Ghost type car. Although we wish to carry out a few tests with this car we do not wish to keep it as an experimental car. It is a complete well-finished body. Our suggestion is that we hand this car over to the Transport Dept at Derby and they use it instead of the present 40/50 HP. car which they have which could be sold. Although the body is mounted on a subframe, it is quite impossible for anyone to notice this unless the car is examined from underneath. The running of the car as a Transport car would be the sort of running we require in order to test the subframe and also see what happens to the special paint-work. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
