R.R. 235A (100 T) (S.H 159 11-8-20) G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} 2800 X9770 TO HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} FROM DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}1/M14.12.25. Copy to re. 9-PK. X9770 x We were informed on the 'phone this morning that the above car will be ready for delivery on Wednes- day morning the 16th. What Hoopers need are a gear lever, which they believe was taken off and sent to Lillie Hall, and a Silver Ghost switchbox which they will temporarily wire up in order to control the electrical apparatus. Would the driver coming from Derby bring such a box and carry out the necessary wiring, only sufficient to enable him to get the car to the Works. We wish the driver to give Mr. Carpenter, and any other members of the administration at Hoopers, a trial run in this body, over a suitable test route which they may use, before he takes the car away.
