386 -2- 18th October 1938. much surprised that I had not had all these things delivered to me before. However, instructions are issued by Webb that these are to be sent down to me at once so I may receive them in the next fortnight. I thought I had better give you at once the result of my interview whilst it was fresh in my mind so that you may know how the position stands at present. In addition Webb explained at great length that the front windscreens were not going to leak and in the next sentence he said they always would, so that I do not quite know where I am, and if they do leak in the next rainstorm he only gets the deposit which I have now made, because this is the reason we are having a new car. Yours sincerely, [Signature] [Handwritten note: Whilst they are put right] Captain D.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} Withers, | ||
