contd :- -2- We observe that the rear and front shock damper connecting links are getting insufficient lubrication. Will you please remove the drip plugs which we do not consider adequate and fit plugs which will supply sufficient oil to the bottom ball pads. Having done this will you please let us know what size drip plugs you have fitted so that we can specify that they should be used on production. Will you also please reduce the flow to the steering arm until you get what you consider to be adequate and let us know the plug size. We do not want you to hand the car over to PN.{Mr Northey} until you have completed the cooling tests to your satisfaction We note your report on the starvation of fuel on the SS.{S. Smith} at high speeds; this is somewhat disconcerting in view of the fact that 18-EX ran 10,000 miles satisfactorily with the smaller section pump. We can only think it is some temperature effect such as we previously experienced on 12-EX, since the weather is now hot in France.
