This is to inform you that W.G.Chambers (2540), Labourer in No.4 Test House, fractured a small bone in his left ankle this morning and, after a visit to the Infirmary, has been sent to his home. He has been instructed to attend at the Infirmary for examination on the 15th.inst.

The fracture was apparently caused by him jumping up (to remove a wire from a low beam), and then catching his foot on the edge of the bedplate, giving it a sudden twist sideways.
