Disc Flywheels - Bentley.

We recently asked you to fit a modified flywheel to EX.12847 on B-10 unit. We find however that none of the three steel flywheels available is suitable. On one the centre diameter of the holes in the flange is 4" instead of 3 1/2"; the other two flywheels are 8-bolt fixing instead of 12.

We have decided therefore to carry out the experiment on B-9 unit at present in 3-B-IV chassis. Will you therefore please machine one of these two latter flywheels to the attached sketch, and plug the holes for the 10" Borg & Beck and fit the 11" Borg & Beck clutch taken from B-12.

We will let you have the car as soon as the parts are ready.
