The following items we suggest should be fitted to the above chassis for test :- Starter Motor. Grapholoy bearings, and Bijur Oil Supply to motor removed. [handwritten] not fitted Main Switch. Deletion of carbon contacts. ✓ Dynamo. Latest type, giving high output. ✓ Ignition Distributor. The carbon brush for this should be supplied by British carbons. ✓ Condenser. Condenser of reduced capacity in order to give better life to the points. ✓ Ignition Coil. To be of latest type, if not already fitted. Ballast Resistance. Mechanical fastening of the wire instead of silver soldering. ✓ Switchbox. The existing switchbox on the chassis should be brought up to date to give full charge on "S" and "T", and in addition arranged to break the field circuit first. ✓ [handwritten] armature BY/RD. | ||
