Dear Sammons,

Thank you for your letter of 22nd May. I can see you Monday or Tuesday next week if convenient.

You will find us in a very unreceptive state with regard to Kadenacy because, as a result of the war situation, everybody in the Factory is concentrating on producing every aviation engine possible, and our development work has all gone to the winds.
