R 238 (150 BKS.) (SH57. 29-6-20.) MP 224358 ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. INSTRUCTIONS. To Order No. Customer's No. S. 19 occurred in the valve, charging became steady at 6.1 amps (2 1/4 volts) the valve having a purple glow inside. The charging current could be reduced by approximately half by unscrewing either resistance lamp. It was noted that this also had the effect of reducing the glow in the valve. On open circuit the volts were from 10 to 11 (not steady) the filament was normal (appearing red through the dark deposit which lined the glass bulb of the valve.) but the purple glow ceased. Various charging arrangements with the swivelling links Signed (Contd) This Sheet must be filed on completion of the work. | ||
